Project Components
- Management, Monitoring & Evaluation

The management approach to delivering project activities and technical assistance will support two-way dialogue, cooperation and mutual learning. The emphasis will be on using the partnership to develop and adapt models and methodologies to the local context, rather than simply exporting these from Canada.

The basic approach is to achieve shared project management between CIP and CH&PA, with a planned transition over time from Canadian ownership to Guyanese ownership of project activities and results. This involves the work of the local coordinator in direct contect with the CH&PA and liaising regularly with the International Project Manager. Project Management will also rely on a continuous but simple system of project monitoring and evaluation, relying on performance measurement framework and indicators. Project governance will rely on a Project Steering Committee (PSC), involving CIP and the CH&PA.
